Martial Arts for Adults

Potomac Kempo - Adults Class

No matter what shape you are currently in, becoming a student at Potomac Kempo will provide an exceptional path to becoming the person you wish to be.

For many adults, a membership to the local gym is not enough to achieve personal fitness goals. However, exercising under the discipline of martial arts creates both novelty and drive for those who seek a higher level of fitness while learning practical self defense.

Potomac Kempo - Adults ClassRegardless of your age or fitness level, the study of Shaolin Kempo Karate leads to increased energy, improved flexibility and coordination, as well as greater strength and agility. The development of a healthy body moves in time with improvement of mental acuity — stress relief, increased focus, greater confidence, and self-discipline.

Potomac Kempo - Adults ClassWe offer daily classes to provide you ample opportunity for exercise and practice. Our instructors consistently bring a variety of activities and challenges to each class creating an environment that is stimulating and encouraging. As instructors, we find joy in watching our students become more peaceful and centered, and then spreading that positive energy to those around them.

One of the best parts of the environment at Potomac Kempo is the camaraderie between the students. You and your fellow students will work individually but also together, driving each other to new levels of accomplishment.

Testimonials

Kempo has helped me keep control over my body. I can keep myself from laughing at inappropriate times. I am also capable of calming myself when I am angry, sad, or any other emotion.
